How did you remove "Choose Your Language" ?
It would be helpful to see your site... What's the URL ?

to remove 'choose language' went into includes/templates/MY/common tp_header.php and basically removed the section it said choose language !
Tried searching for the GB icon everywhere, can't find it.

There's no need to hack the code to "remove" most things...
You can "switch" off these sorts of things in your admin panel.
Suggest you put back all the hacked code and use your admin panel to switch off sideboxes and other components.
Plenty of posts and tutorials on this on the forum.

No access to these options in the admin. Its all in the top header not sideboxes (they're extras). Tried to remove the logo 'flag' image but just leaves a space where the image should be. I've been through everything trying to find the code for the gb flag but I just can't find it anywhere....any ideas ?

Looks like you're another victim of Template Monster... oh dear...
Try this:--
In your stylesheet called "styles.css"
CHANGE the reference to what I've put in in RED
.main {width:766px; margin:auto;}
.l1{}
.l1_t1{background: #0F0705;}
.l1_t1_c1{width:353px;background: url(../images/h_back1.gif) no-repeat right top}
.l1_t1_c2{width:142px; padding-top:39px;}
.l1_t1_c3{display:none}
.l1_t1_c4{width:85px; padding-top:39px;}
.l1_t1_c5{width:136px; padding-top:39px;}
.l1_t2{}
After you've done this, put back all the code you hacked out and see if "display:none" still keeps it hidden.
(Despite the fact that TM code is not the greatest, it's probably better to retain its integrity).

Did as you said, oh dear, flag has gone but choose language and currency box has returned..............?

Don't you just LOVE those purchased templates?!?
NOT
:censored:
You have more than one stylesheet loading and controlling this. Actually 3:shocking:
style.css, stylesheet.css, and stylez.css. The template SHOULD have come with only one. With any luck, it was stylesheet.css. If so, you may want to temporarily rename the others to something like style.dfw and see what changes. Might help you find which one is causing the problem. You should combine them if at all possible.

well the stylez.css was me renaming the original, I've saved and deleted that one.
the stylesheet.css is not controlling the background and some other stuff, the currency and language still appear with this.
the style.css is the only one I'm using now and the currency and language options are still up there.
is there a 'safe' way to turn off this in the tpl_header , just like I did before but without removing it ??

There ought to be a warning banner on every ZenCart page about Template Monster!
I've got REAL enemies that I wouldn't recommend Template Monster to!:no:
You can block out several things in you style.css BUT TM has worked their wonderful magic once again so that each time you try to change something using standard practices, it breaks something else.
In your case, you could modify the style.css where it says > .l1_t1_c3 {
display:none;
}modify it to> .l1_t1_c3, .l1_t1_c2 {
display:none;
}BUT....
TM has coded the divs (dc on ~ line 9 of style.css) for display: table-cell. In other words, things are gonna start moving everywhere!
Hang on to your hat and give it a go.

OK the choose language has gone BUT the currency drop box and 'currencies' remains. Flicked through quickly everything else seems to be working as should be.................

And you brought up the removal of this when?
You would save us all some time if you combined your request.:wink:

My Texan angel, thank you very much, all is good. I lived in West Texas for a couple of years absolutely gorgeous, would love to go back but alas immigration sucks and I'm stuck with dreary England ! Thank you for your southern hospitality xx
