Where is tracking number?

Where in the admin panel can I enter a tracking number for shipped orders? Can customers then easily track their package through UPS on the site?

To the best of my knowlege you would half to find a download for this procedure to associate the tracking # on your site for customers to track.

But,

1. When a customer orders a product and you edit the order.
2. At the bottom left under Comments
3. I always place the tracking number here with a link to the UPS site
4. Status is changed to shipping
5. click update

Do you know where order comments (as you refer to) are stored in the database? We have to make an automated task to do this and will be inserting directly to the database.

Not if you're inserting into the database directly from an external resource.
