Benefits of running Google Checkout?

hat are the benefits of using the Google Checkout out in place of Zen checkout? Does the PayPal IPN work any better with Google? My current PayPal IPN (for v1.3.7.1) does NOT pass shipping address.

Also, Google claims that ads woth Google Checkout get 10% more click through and 40% more conversion then other 3rd party checkout systems. I will try anything that might help my rather poor conversion ratios. Any thoughts?

As a consumer, I only shop sites where I can use my credit card without being sent to "someone else" to checkout.

It depends I guess, I do trust Google, and checkout with them is fast, so I really dont mind.
But back to the topic, I think you better narrow down the reasons why you have such low ratio (with the help of tools such as google analytics). There are many things you can fix to increase your conversion ratio, adding 1 more checkout method may not be the first priority.
