Can't get rid of sideboxes..

Hi everyone!

I'm having a problem getting rid of the sideboxes on the right side of my site.

I want to get rid of "Currencies" , "Languages", and "Manufacturers".

I am using a custom template, and the option to remove these sideboxes is not available is the layout boxes section of the admin control panel.

Thanks for any suggestions!
