Copying Categories

I am setting up categories at the moment and find that I have a lot of sub categories to enter is there any way to copy/paste categories, eg.

MAIN CATEGORY1
subcategory1
subcategory2
subcategory3
MAIN CATEGORY2
subcategory1
subcategory2
subcategory3
