Please notify me

When I placed an order I saw a "please notify me of updates to these products" but it only shows up after placing an order sometimes. I saw it once but now am trying to see it again.

I want to remove it. Is this available in the admin panel?

Admin - Configuration - Customer Details - Customer Product Notification Status set to 0
