Email Export in 1.3.8

I have always used DrBytes email export, because it gave me some great options like exporting active customers in the past 3 months.

http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=80

However, I recenty upgraded to 1.3.8 and this exporter no longer works. I run the command and it churns forever until I get error (see end of post). It still wroks fine in my 1.3.7 install.

So, is there a way to made this mod work? I was told it is a simple mod, but I don't know programming.

If not, do any of you have a method for exporting customer emails?

Error on run:

1053 Server shutdown in progress
in:
[SELECT DISTINCT c.customers_email_address as customers_email_address, c.customers_lastname as customers_lastname, c.customers_firstname as customers_firstname FROM customers c LEFT JOIN orders o ON c.customers_id=o.customers_id WHERE o.date_purchased IS NULL ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

2006 MySQL server has gone away
in:
[select count(*) as total from sessions where sesskey = '4c13c33c431b5e229364d8abfd6c3254']
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.
