5 Character Min. Error on Admin Password reset

Every time I try to reset my password, I get:

Your new Password must contain a minimum of 5 characters.

However, I'm using more than 5 characters.

Ideas?

The problem was my configuration file.

I was able to write to the database with:

in admin

However, the checkout in my store was not secure for some reason.

Ideas?
