EZ page as a Category? Want Amazon links...

Hi there, :)

I have created a page of links to books on Amazon, that i'd like to be displayed when someone clicks "Books" in my categories list.....

Right now, I have it as an EZ page, and the word Books is displayed along that bar where it says EZPages: Shared: Privacy: Zencart and so on....

How can I make this page effectively a category? OR if I can't do that, can I create a category called Books and somehow add Amazon HTML instead of products, so the page displays their content?

Well to really do what you want, you'll need to create your own product type. You'll find plenty of info on doing that in the forums and the FAQ section.

A more quick n dirty solution would be to simply create each book as a product, then add a link to the product where specified on the product edit page. That link will be displayed on the product detail page, and you can obviously set it to the matching Amazon link.
