Reward Points Module for ZC v13x

I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

I installed reward_point_full_suite_2.1b and it works fine with single prices, but if you have qty discounts it does not give the correct points, it still calculates the points at the single purchase price. so for example:

1-3 8.99
4-10 7.99

if i purchase 10 it will give me the points for the 8.99 price instead of the 7.99 price.

Does anyone know if this works with Super Orders?

I found an issue with the calculation of rewards points when used in conjunction with the 'Rush/Priority Handling' add-on.

With the additional 'charge' added to the order total, it increases the rewards points earned.

It adds additional rewards points (in my case I have a $5 rush handling charge) to the order total/points earned.

Really? I've read about others that weren't having luck and the devs of Super Orders knows the files would need a bit of tweaking to make it work smoothly. Did you change anything and have you tested from beginning to end? And most importantly, are the points being rewarded upon placement of the order or delivery? The "update" system with Super Orders is what's seems to be incompatible. Thanks.

Sorry. Not an issue. Resolved by going to Configuration -> Rewards Points Configuration -> Advanced Reward Point Calculation Rules and adding in ot_priority_handling and subtract.

Works like a charm.

I am running, Edit Orders, Super Orders, Rewards Points, Shipping Notifications, and COWOA.

All of the mods were done at roughly the same time and it was quite some time ago, but yes, rewards points are being rewarded properly when the order has been marked 'delivered'.

They are in a pending state in all other instances.

Well in that case I guess I'll tinker around with it a bit more. Maybe there have been small changes from the point that you installed up until now. Back to the drawing board...

Let me be clear on what I actually said.. what I said was I have NO IDEA if Rewards Points works with Super Orders and that IF it doesn't, that you may need a developer to help you with that if no one in the community can provide an answer for you. The Rewards Points module works with the default order and Super Orders is an enhanced version of the default order. So if they do not work together, it may not take much work to correct that, but I DO NOT know what that would require (or IF a change is required). I also stated that if there were code adjustments needed that I DO NOT know what work would be involved or how much a developer would charge to make the changes needed (IF they are needed). I also suggested that this thread would be the place to ask since your questions since the folks here would have more specific knowledge on how Rewards Points works with Super Orders..

Yes, in a nutshell I think it simply says that they don't work together, I'm sorry I didn't share with him our conversation. And I had misremembered and thought you had said it didn't work together, not that you weren't sure. Forgive my oversight, it was nearly 3AM.

On another note, I wonder if the people who have it working together are working on a prior release rather than the most recent of Super Orders. I have everything I need installed, I'll give it another go, if by chance I figure anything out, I'll be happy to post here. Thanks.

I am running SO Version: 4.0.4, released in Sept (dot rev down). Rewards Points Version: 2.1b released in Apr of 2012(current).

I've just installed the 2.1b reward points module and I found the following issues:

1. Reward point display in product info.
   No effect to the reward points display when the Primary Category Reward Point ratio changed. But changing the point ratio of sub-category or product's, the reward pt. display is correct. It will overwrite the global reward pt ratio.

2. Reward Points earned
   When check out, the reward points earned ONLY follow the Global reward pt ratio regardless of the product or sub-category pt ratio setting.

(e.g. If I set $100 will earn 100 reward pt (product pt ratio:1) in product point ratio and 50 reward point (global pt ratio:0.5) in global pt ratio at the mean while, it displays 100 pt. will be earned. However, only 50 reward pt earned when checkout.)

I didn't find any error when installation. But I can find the log file mentioned:
[19-Jun-2013 02:23:34]StoreRewardPoints called but SESSION['REWARD_POINTS_EARNED'] not found

When installation, I've merged the existing tpl_product_info_display. I don't know whether the problem caused by this.

My zencart ver is 1.5.1 and PHP Version: 5.2.17 (Zend: 2.2.0)

So i just installed Reward Points (latest version) and having an issue. I've figured out that I can only have Reward Points or Reward Points Tiered Discount active at a time and not both. However, the problem I am running into is that when Either one is active Half the page doesn't load on step 3 of checkout (order confirmation). As soon as I enable the other module (i.e. Reward Points Tiered Discount) it works for roughly 3 page loads then has the same problem. I've run through everything and re-installed twice. Any Ideas? I've tried uninstall then install again and didn't merge any file even the product info layout changed. But same problems occured (mentioned above). This time, there is no any error record in the log file!

I've installed the reward point module and it works fine. I've found where I can change the number of points rewarded per purchase but where can I change the value of the points? So right now each point seems to be worth about 1 cent, I'd like them to be worth $1 each.

Where would I change that?

That might be in Customers -> Group Reward Points -> Global Points Ratio -> 1.00

I believe one point is rewarded for each dollar spent, so you're being mighty generous.

Hi everyone,
I have a customer with some reward points in several order but no point appear in her account on store. It seems that all the order with a reward points less than 10 points doesn't work....

I do those setting...do someone find what am i doing wrong please???

One more thing....I checked my last orders...they all have a reward points under the total...but none customer get their points in my admin area....:-(((
