Thank you Ladyink and Nullmind. I set the sunrise period to 0 and that did the trick. However like you, I also need a sunrise period. And I tried setting it back to see if it worked on the off chance. It didn't.

Any of the wonderful resident coders have a fix for this? I'm just a coding noob, I wouldn't have the faintest idea what to do.

Or is there some other setting that needs to be tweaked in order for it to work? Maybe there's another switch we need to flip?

Found the problem- It was a mismatched open brackets in the code. Just unzip the attached file to admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/ - It will be in the next release.

I've just upgraded to the latest version that i read has fixed attribute handling.

however i'm still having a BIG issue.

I am using another contributions to enable users to set the price of the product.

now the shopping cart sees a total and everything works right, except 0 reward points are awarded.

EDIT i changed the value of an attribute and now it gives just the base price. It may be a problem with how the other contribution works.

The problem is that the reward points are rewarded on the value of the product as stored in the products table (now adjusted by specials, discounts and attributes). If anything calculates it differently then the value will not be available to the reward points module- Therefore the points awarded can never be determined.

The only way around this as far as I see would be to add an extension that allows you to calculate the reward points globally when the total is calculated but then you will lose the capability of setting the global redeem on a group or product basis.

The errors / queries I have with this are:

My account points display. This currently shows as 0 even though I have some.

Digital products not accumulating points: I’ve set the points to earn 1 when £5 is spent. This is not working when adding digital products to the cart. I’ve not set any rules for specific catogeries – I’m using the global setting.

Admin Orders/customers / reward points: At present the search is only searching first name – can it search second name also?

The one main important issue is that as a customer, I can’t figure out how to redeem the points? Please explain this as I’ve had a good look and can’t seem to sort that one out!

Any clues?

I have now spent all evening tweaking around with the settings in admin and everything is working except for the automation of settings points to ‘Earned’ from ‘Pending’. Super Order is tracking the order status and I have set it so the the order status is set to ‘Shipped’ when the ‘completed’ button is pressed and have set the Reward Points to ‘Advanced’ and where it should be setting points to ‘Earned’ when order status is ‘shipped’ which it is not doing. Currently my client has to set the points from ‘pending’ to ‘earned’ manually which is very very time consuming.

Any clues?

The only thing I can think of is that you have some other mod changing the order status and because of this the code that transfers the points in the reward module is never called.

I installed this fix and changed the Sunrise period to 1. It appears anyone that had pending points older than a day got their points added to earned. But it left those points in pending also. Thus if they had 44 point pending now they have 44 pending and 44 earned.

So any points transfer to earned should be marked as STATUS_PROCESSED. I'll try it out on my test rig in the morning.

Okay got it now- The tracking records are changed accordingly. However the customers own balance does not change.

Sorry I haven't read the entire thread, but could you tell me if this module have this capability

Customer A refers Customers B1,B2,B3,B4, and B5 and these 5 customers spend a total of $550.00. What I want is for customer A to earn the reward points for customers B1,B2,B3,B4, and B5 orders, thus encouraging Customer A to refer more people and Customer B1,B2,B3,B4, and B5 to refer more people as they would then get reward points for the customers they refer etc.

I hope that makes sense. I only want referrals to be one level deep.

Basically if I purchase a $10 item and use 100 Reward Points ($1 value in default case) in the purchase, then my Earned Points would be adjusted to 9 instead of 10 because the customer is only going to spend an actual $9 on the item.

I don't want the customer to earn points for using points basically.

Added code that Points Redeemed on an order are now subtracted from the Points Earned on that order.

I too am sort of having this issue. I looked every where I could to see how the total was being calculated because it appears that the State tax and Shipping are being calculated on the Sub-Total but the Reward Points are not being subtracted from the Sub-Total before the calculation. I've tried moving where the Reward Points are displayed (sort position) but it does not seem to make a difference. I looked at the code in the "ot_reward_points.php" module and it appears to be correct in adjusting the subtotal.

Should I be looking elsewhere?
