There's probably a very simple fix I'm overlooking, but is there a way to make it not show "X" Rewards Points on each product?

Just delete includes\templates\YOUR CUSTOM FOLDER\templates\tpl_product_info_display.php

Great mod so easy to install. Is there any way I can turn off the total reward points in the checkout area, UNLESS the customer has ticked the newsletter subscribe box, or if that is too difficult, unless I have approved them for reward points?

I have installed the Reward Points Module version 1.23a and found 3 problems, appreciate if anyone can help:

1. Even I have set the Category Point Ratio or / and the Product Point Ratio, but they can't overwrite the Global Point Ratio, which means I always get the the same for all products.

2. If I set the Global Point Ration to 0, the sidebox rewards of the items in the cart will show "-1" reward points.

3. If I redeem the points (e.g. as $20). and on the invoice, it will show reward points earned : 130. But I find the client record is updated to have 150 points pending instead of 130 (i.e. without deducting the 20)

Sub-total: $150.0
Shipping: $13.0
Quantity Discount: -$14.0
Value of Redeemed Reward Points: -$20.0
Total: $129.0
Reward Points earned: 130

Any ideas for the above. Thank you very much!!

Thanks! But I find the below link to download the v1.26a doesn't work, even I have tried to remove the "www" after the ".com".

I have an earlier version of the Mod installed.

I wanted to change the global ratio from 1.00 to 0.5, so I amended it as I assumed it should have been done, eg

Catalog>Rewards points>Set Global Reward Point Ratio.

Now, all the rewards points are still available to existiign customers, but they have no actual $value ???

I retraced my steps and reset it back to 1.00, but all customers are still shwoing available points but no $ value.

What did I do.!!! :wacko:

Help! My site went blank!!

I've triple checked all my files to make sure they were in the correct place.
ran the new sql with no problem

Everything seems to be in order...i did it first on my test site the same exact way with no problems.

Do you know what I may be missing??:cry:

just to give you more info...I am currently running zen 1.3.8 php 5.2.5. I have no issues accessing my Admin, cpanel, or phpmyAdmin. There are no errors showing up in my Admin and my phpmyAdmin seems to have all the required tables.
just can't access my site (blank screen)....

I just uninstalled the mod and still having same issue. I have made no other changes to my site aside from installing this mod. Do you think this issue is mod related?

Update to the latest version (1.26) as a lot of these issues have been fixed- This sounds like a rounding error which appeared in one of the earlier versions.

Hi Andrew,

one more point to note: I find the 295 rewards point earned before are still there at my customer record after I have confirm the above order, any ideas? (the 260 has added as pending).

At the moment, the only information to a customer in the my account page is the Total Reward Points they have earned. Is there a way to show the Value of Redeemed Reward Points as seen on page 2 of 3 on the checkout pages?

First off- Switch off Reward Points Discount under Order Total modules (this is just on test at the moment).

Then check Config->Reward Points and see what you have "Adjust Reward Points for Sales/Specials" set to.
