Reward Points Module for ZC v13x

Can you please share where you deleted $this->process(); from because we still have the duplicate problem on our site as well.

I found it a few pages back, but this is what I did;

Opened includes/modules/order_total/ot_reward_points.php,
Delete "$this->process()" under "collect_posts()"

This worked for me, and this was after adding all the files from v1.31.

I had the same issue with reward points being taken off twice when redeemed on first login even after downloading the latest version.

Making this amend in ot_reward_points.php seems to have fixed it but I'm left wondering whether this will have any further implications and why it was not made in the latest distribution? :unsure:

I'll check this in the morning- I did change that code- I'm guessing the new file did not make it to the zip file. As it stands, removing that line of code from the older version will solve the issue with the duplicate reward points but it will still direct the customer to the payment mod even when RPs cover the whole total.

Okay, I've "freshened" the zip file and reloaded. The changes are now properly in place.

May I know where can I download the latest version? I downloaded from the link provided on the first page, (http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&cPath=40_60&products_id=1002) and the folder is 1.28a.

I installed the mod and everything looks great, but Paypal orders are not receiving points. I know this was an issue and have waded through the 143pages here to see if a solution was ever found, but was unable to find anything.

So, was a solution to the Paypal issue ever found? :lamo:

I use paypal as main payment method too, would love to know if this is resolved, before I install the mod.

I have this mod installed and we are using Paypal Express. The reward points are allocated correctly and is transferred to earned at the correct stage.

Which Paypal interface are you referring to?

Please confirm the version of the Reward Points Module mod you are using.

I was using 1.28 (? - that is the latest version on the Zen Cart mods page for this mod) but updated it to the 1.32a which I found this morning. As of yet I have not seen any difference in the functionality regarding Paypal IPN orders (and I might add that Hem sent a link to me earlier for this version - thank you Hem)

Have you had any PayPal IPN orders since you've installed the latest version?

Yes, several. I have 4 in status "processing" and 1 in status "pending" and 1 in status "shipped" and none of them show pending or earned points in Customers > Reward Points

I might add that orders that came through with Western Union and other payment methods do show proper points

I have set minimum points to redeem to be 10.

Test run 1 - sufficient points but unable to enter number to redeem:
At order total, I set the reward points to be redeemed manually. When the points are sufficient, I only see a 'tick' box, but not as described that we are able to enter the number to redeem.
(refer to attached file)

Test run 2 - insufficient points, and 'Redeem Reward Points' appear (shouldn't be there at all)
In this test, I took off the points, so that it's insufficient to redeem, but strangely, the 'Redeem Reward Points' is still showing, even though the tick box is now absent.

Anyone has similar issue? I am unable to run the diagnostic tool too.

Also, I am using Paypal IPN, and received payments using this payment mode. Points are not recorded at all, regardless of the order status.

I am using the latest version of Reward Points mod; running zen cart 1.39d.
