Reward Points Module for ZC v13x

I have a mod that already edited the tpl_product_info_display. What is the change to this file in this mod, so that I can implement it using my already modified tpl_product_info_display file?

With regard to the Q&A: I don't mind giving you the script; after all, I didn't write it, you will find the author in the css header.

I attach a zip file here. It contains three files which you will need:

• reward_scripts (you need to place it in the header of your Q&A page)
• reward_contents (place in the body of your Q&A page)
• reward_stylesheet (this is doing all the trick of unfolding the question selected)

It's not difficult to master once you see the logic of it and you can play with the css for different appearances if you like. If you look at the tabbed index of the test product as in my previous post (with the three tabs for description, additional info and additional images), you will notice that it uses exactly the same script with a different stylesheet to imitate the index tabs.

Visit the script author's web site (pmob.co.uk) for a treasure of scripts and codes to exploit. Just find some time to experiment, this is the difficult part as the day has only 24 hours.

Look in Michael's post above (#1838) and insert the block of code in the "tpl_product_info_display.php" file, higher or lower in the page depending on where you want the reward points information to appear. That should be all provided that you have installed the rest of the mod correctly.

I want to install this module, but will it automatically give points to current customers for referring new ones(their friends). I want this feature to encourage my current customer base to tell their friends about my site.

Wildchick, although I'm not the author of this mod, I can't see a way to do what you want. The purpose of the mod is totally different.

I found a free program called DiffDoc that will compare 2 text files to each other so you can find where the changes are. You will need to change the PHP extension to TXT before you start. After you finish, change the extension back to PHP.

For some reason the mod isn't showing what the points are worth, what could be causing that?

What file calculates the output that shows how much the points are worth. Everything else seems to be working fine.

Seems the file is

extra_functions/reward_points_functions.php

But that is all present and correct....?

I've installed the reward points module but I don't use sideboxes on my website. Is there a way to get the content of the reward points sidebox on a EZ-Page and the regular checkout pages?

My customers are earning points and I can see them when I go to customer/reward points, but ever after changing the status of the order to shipped, the points stay pending, and don't move to earned. Secondly, in the invoices, there is a line for reward points earned, but it says 0 even though the customer earned rewards.

Phanmale, I've just done this as well and it works like a charm.

You need to make sure that you edit the correct file - make sure it is:

/includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/css/stylesheet_reward.css

In that file, I have changed it as follows, and added a new TEXT-SIZE as an example:
I have also changed the color of the sidebox display to green by changing the font color like this:

Once saved the results are: (and I've highlighted the elements for you to compare with yours with Web Developer 1.1.8)
(Oh yes, I also changed the display tag as you can see...)

You may also change most of colours, fonts, borders etc from within the reward.css file.

Thanks for getting back to me! I had it set to simple. I changed to the setup you have except, I don't have Refunded and Cancelled as an options. I have instead I have backordered and shipped. Do I have to run something to update the points status, because just changing this did not make any changes to the points status.

My resolved my issue. It seems that when I click the "e" icon next to the orders and update the order status, the points are moved to earned. If I click "details" on the right and change the order status, the points are not moved. I think I implemented an edit order mod that does not refresh the points.

As I understand from your reply, your issue is now resolved.

As for the "Cancelled" and "Refunded" order status, these have been added me by from Localization > Order Status. Once created, they appeared in the Reward Points Status Track as well.
