Google Indexed Page Reads Zen-Cart Why?

I'm very new to Zen-Cart and am trying to take it slow and get my site set up as correctly as possible before I add a lot of inventory.

I've read many of the wonderful tutorials and FAQ questions and answers and implemented many of them.

I noticed my browser bar was reading Zen-Cart the art of e-commerce and I used the instructions to change that. My browser bar reads correctly now.

Google has started to index a few of my pages BUT the first entry shows the title as Zen-Cart the Art of e-commerce with my own url as the link. How do I get google to recognize my tag for my shop and not read Zen-Cart?

That's probably just a matter of waiting. You can't change Google's index, just correct the error on your site (which you have done) and wait for Google to come back and re-index you.

On checking this morning, Google has re-visited my pages and it now reads correctly. That's cool!
