To host ZC or not to host ZC, that is the question?

I am using Joomla1.5 and installing using simplescripts. I heard there are numerous issues with joomla1.5 code and zc operation. What is the best way to maximize zc and reduce the admin headaches? What are the negatives of hosting zc separately with zc?

Suggest you use separately zc, it will maxize it's vaule.
