My 1 catagory is blank??`

I recently upgraded to 1.3.8a from 1.3.7 and I just found that one of my catagories comes up blank....all of the other ones work, but once you click on the catagory only the right sidebox comes up and the sub catagories and left sideboxes don't display.

is the link, the catagory is Pregnancy and Maternity. Interestingly enough I moved all the sub cat. to a new cat. and the same problem occurs.

Any ideas? I have looked at tpl_mainpage.php and can't find anything wrong.

You are supposed to get on your host to assist...

Did you pull tables from your old DB for customers and orders or the complete Old DB and then do an upgrade DB?

I'm not sure, my hosting company did it for me!!
The products are on the site, the sub cat. just don't show up for that cat.

Yeah maybe - but as this was a while ago your orders and new customers and possibly any items you added or changed on the previous site/DB would have needed to grabbed and inserted into the DB for your new 1.3.8a site

actually, I have not made any changes or additions to this catagory since it was upgraded.....

try zencart admin
configuration
layout settings
categories always open to show subcategories value 1

As far as I know yes. The thing that puzzles me is, why when I moved the sub cats. to a new cat. did it still not work. There should be 3 sub-cats showing.

My hosting is awesome, so I don't think they did something:wink:

Fixed...

You had several files that you did not want to use renamed so that they still parsed

In particular product_listing_old.php

These should be renamed as product_listing.old
