Displaying discount in the basket?

Seems strange Zen Cart feature that discounts is displayed first on second phase of checkout?

Any methods to get the discounts visible allready in the basket?

(My discounts are product based not total based.)

Yes I was hoping for GPL version of solution.
I know price is not expensive but like to keep all GPL.

I understand. I'm not aware of any GPL version. I hope there is (or will be) one, because I find it strange as well.
