super simple "add to cart" method? Flash site
Hi there. I'm trying to adapt a low-tech, streamlined flash site to use Zen Cart to manage a shopping cart.
Basically the existing flash site is going to include a "buy this now!" button that needs to add a particular product to the cart. I've attempted to build a URL that calls:
http://[domain]/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=[your
cPath]/&products_id=[your products_id]/&action=add_product
with POST variables "cart_quantity" and "products_id"
...however, it doesn't actually add the product to the cart, it just brings up the product info page, where the user would have to click again to add the item to the cart.
Is there a way to accomplish this? I'm to understand that there's a session made per visitor, so to ensure this was created I made an EZ page with the flash in it, but this doesn't seem to make any difference. Thanks in advance for your insight!
