can i make some required fields, non required. If so how can i do this. thanks for any help

B, the quickest way instead of coding .php files is to:

admin panel/ configuration/ minimum values
set them to 0
then you will half to get rid of the red *
includes/ languages/ your_custom_template/ english.php
find the heading you want to get rid of
you will notice each one has 3 seperate lines
Find the *
and delete it
remember to leave the single quotes ''
