Datbase Manipulation: make Products_price_sorter = price

I am by no means a database expert so this may seem like a stupid question, but is there a way, either by a SQL query or a via a database change, to make the products_price_sorter within the produts table, always pull its value from the price field?

I need this functinoality, as ia am using magnetic One's store manager. As it was created for OsCommerce, it does not know what this field should be, so if i can make it always equal the price fiels which store manager does recognize, then i wont have to worry about it.

If that is successful, i would also like to know if it is possible to make the meta_tags_description field always equal to the product description field.

The SQL statement should be something like this:

update tablename set products_price_sorter = products_price

You can run that statement manually. If you wanted to integrate it into Zen Cart, there would be a little more manipulation involved.

Or better yet, just go to Admin->Tools->Store Manager and click the Update Products Price Sorter button to calculate everything accurately.
