Attribute required for text???

I have forms for all of my products. These forms have text fields that need information. Some fields are required while others are optional. I have set up the "attributes required for text" as yes, but the form will still submit even without anything placed in it. I have tried many combinations, but get the same result. The 2 fields that have a dropdown work perfectly though.

Any ideas???

Unfortunately, that did not do it. I am still on a search and rescue mission though.

OK!! I am out of patience and options. I have created a new clean zencart install, imported just the database and some image and css stylesheet files and I am still able to add to cart without entering data in the text fields.:no:

No mods or add-ons, just a clean install.:frusty:

I have read through the forums, read the zen cart book, and still am clueless as to why this site (my other site is working fine) is giving me this problem.

Anybody have anything???

What mods do you have installed

1. Google Sitemaps
2. If you imported the database the value are still there

Google Sitemaps is not installed. I understand about the database, it was just a shot in the dark. I don't know alot about sql, therefore I am not going to fool with it too much. I do know a little about );, but I don't by looking at the "code" if it is missing or not.

WHooHooo!!! The contrib "Improved Attribute Controller" fixed it.
