same product: option for download and ship

I selling this digital book that has a hard copy too.
I'm trying to make only one product, with option to be digital (downloaded) or hard copy.
Hard copy needs shipping, download of course not.
How do I equalize it?
If I put weight on the product, it ask for shipping in both options (download and hard).
If I don't put weight, I can't charge for the shipping.

Any solutions?
I thought about including the shiping on the hard copy price, but it goes all over the world and is hard to equalize the price. So if is there any other solution, will be better.

You can price by attributes and there enter specific weights for each
