Inactive products showing in New Products

My products that are marked as inactive are showing in my New Products pages and rotation, but when they are clicked on it states product not found. How do I keep them from showing in New Products at all?

I really did search before posting :) I found the answer in the cool box that showed up under my post after i posted. Feel free to delete the thread!
