help to ease it to one click

It gets extra clicks and enormous time consupmtion when it goes to changing options from the Admin (for example, to change the 'on' state to 'off' state in the layout boxes controller etc.)
Is it possible to make it the way if you just click on the selected option 'on', then it could be changed to the 'off'.
If there are more than 2 options, then after one click there would appear multiple selection drop down menu and at least after 2 clicks it would be changed. Sounds really cool yeah..

If the problem is already solved please guide me to the thread which I can't find for the whole day and evening, and if I placed the topic in a wrong place, please forgive me and place my topic in a right place.
