Copy Attributes - Download Products

I have a new project in which almost all the products have attributes that are downloadable files. When using the "copy to product" feature under attributes controller, it only copies the option name and value.

I desperately need this function to also copy the file URL, expiry date and the max download fields as well. Otherwise, I'll be udpating attributes til this time next year.

Don't think this is currently possible..zencart thinks that each product has
its own downloadable file, specific to that product. So it does not copy
that part of attribute over.

I'm figuring that out real quick. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone out there has run into this before and has some long lost mod that will be a quick fix. Not bueno! :no:

Use downloads myself, all the time.. In 4 years have been using zencart,
not seen mod for this problem.. only alternative is to advertise in Commercial
Forum for zencart coder to create one.

I'm thinking that may be my only option. This project has 51 products, each with 3 options. Not a big deal. However, 2 of the 3 options have 100 values each. All of which must be a download. That's over 12K values!

Now, a great deal of the values all point to the same download file. (customer wants it to look like they are much bigger than they really are) But, can you set up multiple values to all point to the same file without having to do it individually in the attribute controller panel?

Thanks Linda. Dan - IGD has already done the modification for me and it works great. Was a quick 2 hour code mod. Would love to see it incorporated in the next version if possible.

Any chance of sharing the secret of how to do this PLEASE. I have the same download for every product and I have appox 5000 products to put it on. Please let me know I will be very happy :(
