Where is the code for Prev/Next Split Page Navigation

I am having a problem with Prev/Next Split Page Navigation . I have 1.3.8 installed, Linux server, php5.

Where can i find the code for this. I am trying to find why I am getting a URL like this http://sexytoyzboutique.com/toystore/index.php/main_page/index/toystore/index.php/cPath/1_3/sort/20a//page/2

Notice the repeats, especially this part. sort/20a//page/2

Has anyone else come across this?

Maybe you need to turn off the various mods you've installed which are causing you problems, such as SEO or whatever you're using.
