404 Not found text on each page

I did a search but couldn't find a thread with this exact problem that had been answered yet, so I apologize if I missed one that covered it.

On the top of every store page a text error appears:

The requested URL /shoppe/ was not found on this server
Apache/2.0.61 (Unix) PHP/4.4.7 mod_ssl/2.0.61 OpenSSL/0.9.7e mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 DAV/2 SVN/1.4.2 Server at elentaridesigns.com Port 80

Or port 443, depending upon the security of the specific page. The pages load eventually, but with that text and all of the links in the navigation menu and site text are extraordinarily large. The ssl cert was installed at the end of last year. This text only appears at the top of the actual store pages, not in the zen admin panel. The store is located at elentaridesigns.com/shoppe

I'm not sure how recent this is as I've not made any changed to the store for some time now.

Yes it is and yes I have. Waiting for a response from my host.

Curious as when the problem started.

Is this one of those Hosting accounts where the regular pages are located in a different area on the Server from the SSL pages?

Problem seems to be from some sort redirection but not sure from who; your files or Server files. Could be related to the 'mod_fastcgi' on the Server but your Hoster should know for sure.

The last time I was at the store was probably sometime in late February or early March; at that time there were no issues. Beyond that I haven't a clue as to exactly when it started.

In my root directory, the certs are located within their own folder, seperate from the main site-- like a certs folder and then the elentaridesigns.com folder. But the ssl applies to the entire site. The rest of the site is operating without incodent-- the main site (consisting almost entirely of a splash page) and an installed WP blog. If that's relevant. And also doesn't appear on the zen admin panel pages.

My host doesn't seem to know. Their response to my support ticket is as follows:

Odd. I looked into it a bit and to be honest I don't know a whole lot
about their code. I'm guessing through that it's looking for shoppe/ when
perhaps it should really be looking for just shoppe. Is there a
configuration area where you specify the directory and perhaps have a /
at the end that is causing t6he problem?

As the problem only appears when using the Front end of Zen Cart, you should double check the 'includes/configure.php' file and all paths used.

Also, confirm the path for 'cache' (at the end of the file) is correct. It could be that you need to clear your Zen Cart cache. You should safely be able to delete all files in your 'cache' dir. and should do so.

Clarification: in the 'cache' dir. do not delete: .htaccess or index.php file.

Thanks Rob. As far as I can see all the paths in the configure.php file are correct.

Where the cache is concerned, the only file in that directory is .htaccess.

If things were fine until March, that you know of, and no changes have been made by yourself, then it's quite possible your Hoster did something on their end.

A 'hands on' approach is the only way this problem will be resolved.

You will need to work with your Hoster to solve this problem or hire someone to do an in-depth analysis for you.

Hi Rob, thanks for the reply and sorry for mine being so untimely. The issue is still not resolved and my host is feigning ignorance. I think it's time for me to switch hosting companies.
