whats new abd feature products boxes

i was wondering if there is any way for the "whats new" and "featured products" box that is in the main content or center column area to display only text ie. product titles and no images?

Go to admin > config > new listing & Featured listing and set your preferences

thanks kobra, but i tried it and it didnt quite work, i changed them to different combonations but the images still try to load on the home page
