Rate Table HELP!! amber light???

i have an amber light and not a green light on my tabke rate for some reason.

i have done the following in admin

localize/taxes >
Country, i have United Kingdom GRB
zones, got a united kingdom, uk mainland
zone defination, got UK with all United kingdom, all zones set
tax classes, got a taxble goods selection
tax rate, got taxclass taxable goods, zone UK, Tax Rate 17.5%

in the shipping modual i have the following

and im getting an amber light. whats going wrong. Tested the site and and the prices on the site seems corect, adding VAT etc correct, it allowing me to check out and the postage is working out correct, but i still have an amber light. whats going on???

i want to copy this at a later date to create shipping for non mainland UK, ie highlands but if i cant get this right i can continue on.

The amber or yellow light (icon image) means two things ...

1 something is not yet complete on the module

2 you have filtered the module with something like a Zone so that it will not show for ALL addresses

You have setup this shipping module to work with the UK and that is a filter ... hence the amber or yellow icon image is showing vs the green icon image ...

All is still right in the world ... :smile:

OH so seems this only works for the uk only it shows as amber light because if a USA customer were to shop they would get we cant deliver.

how ever i dont under stand why the other postage moduals dont work like this, they all show green light even when filtered.

10 to 1 if you were to save your settings on a shipping module that is showing a green light when you have a filter on the zone ... and REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigure ... you would get the amber/yellow icon showing ...

Or, your /admin/modules.php file could be out of date ...

Or, something odd is up and needs a closer peek ... :blink:

it seems to be working fine and uk customers are getting postage added etc now. but still amber light for some reason.

this is applied to all uk zones i have set so god knows what is going on.
