Authorize.net AIM and Internet Secure

Hello,
I have had no luck getting the Internet Secure Merchant Direct Gateway mod to work. I spoke with Internet Secure and they said that the Authorize.net AIM payment module will work with Internet Secure but they will not supply me with any help. They claim you update the change the url and add in your IS merchant # and it will work.

I did that and it returns errors and Internet Secure said they do not support it so they will not help.

Where to turn? :frusty:

Any advice/help is appriciated.

Re: Authorize.net AIM and Internet Secure

The error is a Security Hash error. I tried using my merchant acct # as the hash, tried using no hash and tried remarking the line out in authroize_aim.php. No luck. Any way to disable the MD5 hash and transaction key from transmitting?

Re: Authorize.net AIM and Internet Secure

Thank you. Couldn't find that post. Even still, now no hashing errors but everytime I enter a credit card I get "Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct the information and try again or contact us for further assistance." but there is no reason shown. I looked in the code and it seems it is being declined, no matter which credit card I use.

Once again, InternetSecure support line refuses to help me (even though they claim they support Auth.Net Emulation).

I noticed you (Dr. Byte) wrote the AIM payment module so I was hoping maybe you would have some idea on this?

Much appreciated.

Re: Authorize.net AIM and Internet Secure

Hello,

I have enabled Debug to log in the Admin > Payment Modules and have run some transacations that failed. Where do I find the log?

I looked in authorize_aim.php but could not find a location.

Hey this is an old post, but it would really help me out a lot if you can tell me where to find the cache.

Thanks

Huh?

Do you mean the /cache folder on your server?

Re: Authorize.net AIM and Internet Secure

Are you having a CURL problem or a hash problem?

CURL is something your hosting company has to deal with.
The hash and other AIM setup instructions are explained here: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=373

Re: Authorize.net AIM and Internet Secure

Thanks DrByte, really appreciate your help, I don't know, it seems my hash is failing, but I have internet secure instead of authorize.net, internet secure just uses the authorize.net module. The last set of error I got was:

I see the post is regarding the AIM mod, is there a similar post to instruct what to change for the SIM mod?

Thanks!

Re: Authorize.net AIM and Internet Secure

Same concept.
AIM is a much more customer-friendly experience, and is recommended over SIM.

I see thanks so much, I will try to get AIM to work, if not, I will try to change the SIM code.

The SIM code seems to be different from the AIM, there is no response$,

instead I disabled

// $this->authorize['HashValidationValue'] = $this->calc_md5_response($this->authorize['x_trans_id'], $this->authorize['x_amount']);
    // $this->authorize['HashMatchStatus'] = ($this->authorize['x_MD5_Hash'] == $this->authorize['HashValidationValue']) ? 'PASS' : 'FAIL';

is there any other place?

Thanks soo much!

Re: Authorize.net AIM and Internet Secure

There's another line ... looks like this:&& $this->authorize['x_MD5_Hash'] == $this->authorize['HashValidationValue']) {you'll need to change it by adding slashes and a carriage return, to make it like this:```
// && $this->authorize['x_MD5_Hash'] == $this->authorize['HashValidationValue']
) {
