email footer spacing issue

When sending text emails and newsletters there is no spacing between my email message and the email footer information. How do I create some spacing between my message and the footer text?

Re: email footer spacing issue

Did you try a line break or 2 <br>?

/catalog/includes/languages/english/email_extras.php line 30

Send me an html email, I'd like to see how yours looks. rc at american-rc.com

Cheers!
