More whitespace woes

First off I just wanna say how great this community is for support. I've solved a few issues on my own just by searching these boards and the wealth of information is tremendous. After digging around these boards for whitespace problems I still am unable to correct the problem on my own site. I'm pretty sure it has to do with a div tag out of place or something. In firefox it doesn't look so bad. There's only a tiny sliver of whitespace (which is actually a black background) in between the logo and breadcrumbs. However in IE it gets totally messed up with the "home" and "log in" functions outside of the breadcrumb and off to the side. You can check it out at

I've ran the firefox developer toolkit and looked for errors relating to this but after cleaning everything up it still persists. If anyone has any suggestions to correct this problem i'd be eternally grateful : )

Re: More whitespace woes

Try removing all padding from the following in your styleaheet

#navMainWrapper, #navSuppWrapper, #navCatTabsWrapper {
	margin: 0em;
	background-color: #ffffff;
	/* background-image: url(../images/greenmarble.jpg); */
	padding: 0.5em 0.2em;
	font-weight: bold;
	color: #000000;
	height: 1%;
	}

Re: More whitespace woes

Alright so I removed that line of code and it did bring the logo and top categories section right next to each other in Firefox. It's still showing a strip of grey in IE between the two though and the Home/Log in is still outside of the top cats box.

It's a shame IE7 has to be such a pain because the layout is exactly how I want it to be in FF. I'm itching to start setting up my sideboxes more now. :/

Re: More whitespace woes

Did you relocate the code for "home&login" to the cat tabs wrapper?
Or is this a case of the two - nav main and cat tabs trying to ocupy the same space?
