Need help!!!

I just installed Zen-cart on my new hosting domain. Everything seemed to install correctly. I had no issues to begin with. However, when I tried to open the index.php file in the root folder it just displayed a blank screen. I appologize if this has been mentioned before. I did do a few searches to see if someone else maybe had this problem and found none that matched. Currently the index.php is one of the default files for the website and it has read and execute permissions. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I tried everything in that tutorial that applied (i didnt make any customizations) and nothing worked. No error log was generated. Very frustrating. All the other php files work on the site except in the root directory. The ones in the root directory are giving me the blank screens.

I assume you tried re-uploading those files from the Zencart zip file?

You would assume correctly. I used FileZilla to upload.
