cant get rid of bullet in doc menu

i have applied the "Better CategoriesEzInfo" mod on my site. i would like to remove the white bullet that appears in my documents categories menu on the right side of my site (named stock photos). this adjustment was simple in the other modified sections (like tpl_ezpages.php, which had a link to this bullet image right at the beginning of the file: (line 14) $pointer = zen_image(DIR_WS_TEMPLATE_IMAGES . 'bc_ezpages.gif');

i cant find anything like this in the tpl_document_categories.php file... someone who knows this mod please help!!

The mod author recommends in the readme.txt file that you replace those
with the 1x1_transparent.gif if you don't want an image.

that is correct, partially... i am trying to replace an image with the 1x1_transparent.gif, however the three you listed are for the images directly next to the category names, the one for categories with no subs, one for a category with subs non-expanded, and one for when the subcategories are expanded. these all look fine and i am going to keep them. however, there is an extra image, the white square, that i am trying to get rid of.

after more sleuthing i see that the documents box is sharing its image with ezpages... so if i replace the .gif with the 1x1_transparent i will fix my documents category, but lose the image on my ezpages box... not sure why the author linked this particular image when all other pages let you specify which image you want...

well i replaced the bc_ezpages.gif with the transparent (turns out it didn't even work right, i had to make a new 1x1 gif with PS)

so now every box that had that image is now missing it... not just ezpages, but all of them... so i guess this image was referenced a lot, not sure if there is anything i can do since i cant figure out how the heck it appears in the first place.
