best way to upgrade with mods

what would be the best way to ugrade with mods, i was thinking of merging all the mod files offline then uploading them. so 25-30 addons become on addon.

then trouble shooting would be harder as it's one big change not many small ones

A valid point. I would install each one individually and then test thoroughly each time.
