Product page: Multiple "add" fields (to add different attributes at once)?

Hello,

I am wondering how to make the following change to the Product Info page in our Zen store:

When an item has attributes, we want to have a table, where the customer could select a few combinations of attributes (say, 5) in the same form, and fill in the "add to cart" quantity for each of them. This way, if they want to add multiple attributes of the same item, they can do this in one go, instead of going back and forth between the product page and the shopping cart.

I've attached a "concept" image of what I'm talking about - please take a look...

Is this possible? Is there an add-on that does this? Or can this actually be done on the admin panel and I've completely missed it? :P

Any help would be appreciated... I can deal with the layout changes by myself - just wondering about the programming aspect of it.

Thanks!

You are not alone on that.

I'm need EXACTLY the same because my store sells products with different sizes/colors and I want to allow customers to buy different sizes/colors at first try.

Have not found a solution yet.

syr2000 - fortunately, I've managed to solve this problem by now. There is an add-on available here on this website called "Product Attribute Grid" (search the downloads section).

By default, it does not do what I was looking for, since it works only for products with two selectable attributes, for example both color and size (for single-attribute products it can be tricked into working, by adding a "dummy" attribute, but that was not an ideal solution for me).
I've made some modifications and managed to make it work properly for single-attributes as well. If you are comfortable with editing php files then I could send you the info.
