Products in sidebox

I can't believe that I can't work out or find how to do this but ...

I have categories listed in the sidebox, that's fine.
When I click a category I want the products in that category to also be listed in a sidebox.
There are only 6 products in each category so the box will not too long.

So ... how can I do this?

any luck yet...i have a client that needs kinda the same...categories..in cat sidebox on the left (typical)...but when clicking on a category..they want the product list to open on the right in a sidebox...then when you click on the product thumb..the large (product info page)..opens in center....
everyone posts items about featured products, and new products, but none on this..!..

Nope, nothing.
I have found a mod that displays ALL products (look for 'products in a sidebox') but, like you, I need to be able to disply only those products in the current category.

My search continues.

Just wondering if anyone has managed to sort this yet.

I was forced to Make them into Sub Cats with only One or 2 products in each. then when you clicked it opened on the main.
