Newbie desperately seeking help with attributes

Hi all -
I swear I've read all of the threads on attributes, but I need some help figuring out how to get this stuff set up.

First of all, I set the option NAME to fragrance (this is where a list of fragrances for custom blend soap will be), and then in option values I listed all the fragrances. Now, when I go to the Attribute controller and add Fragrance to my "custom blended soap" item, only the first fragrance on the list shows up with a radio button, not a drop down menu. How do I make it show ALL of the fragrances in the drop down menu?

Next, a custom blended bar of soap has a base price of $2.00. The customer can select 2 fragrances for $1 (added to the $2, so $3 total), 3 fragrances for $1.50, etc. etc.

To do that should I make a separate option that would have values like "2 fragrances" +$1, 3 fragrances +1.50, etc?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I wouldn't be able to get this site up and running if it wasn't for the generosity of all the experienced Zenners out there :D

Product Name = Base Soap = (Option Type=Checkbox) = Price $2

Option Value = Add Fragance:
Honey: Price $1
etc: Price $1,

With CheckBox Options you can add more than one fragance :)

Hopes this help!!

Use the Qty Discounts for additonal like item purchases. You can set it for an absolute amount or percentage discount, mix(combine) attributes counts etc or not. Powerful tool and many functions/combinations available. Play with it till you get exactully what you want.
