Rustic Template Support Thread

Hi Clyde,

I was wondering if you can tell me where I add to the Nav Main Bar in the header - ie another tab next to My Account etc. I have added the information into my CSS however I can not find where I actually put the code for the links.

http://www.ellaandjaks.com/shop/

Thank you

Re: Rustic Template Support Thread

I am sorry Clyde. Because the box was so small I just assumed it was for Mr or Mrs. Never assume - right. I went into the Contact Us as you said and I only had my email address in the box. I changed it to Name 1 <[email protected]) but now just the word Name shows up.

You can change "name1" to anything you want.

for instance:
support
information

have you created a logo for your site?

If so, is it named "logo.gif"

If you don't plan on using a logo, then create a 1 x 1 transparent image named logo.gif.

not really, I just know what common mistakes people often make when using Zen Cart.

Usually the simplest answer is the correct answer.

open includes/languages/english/rustic/header.php

Make sure the following definitions are using your logo information.

define('HEADER_LOGO_WIDTH', '164px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_HEIGHT', '107px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', 'logo.gif');

Re: Rustic Template Support Thread

Have an question and not sure if this can be done or not. The side boxes that in the template is there a way that in one of them that you can tell it not to change the ADs in it and only have it display the one item. In my second sidebox I want it to kept Rotating through the Ad's but will like to have one of the side boxes just maintain the same Ad's at all time.

This is not a template specific question.

You could do a search of the forum for "banners"

And/or

Check the Tutorial/FAQ section

Re: Rustic Template Support Thread

I like the Rustic template and set up my store with it, http//mpfmarketing.com. I use FireFox and everything looks fine in that browser. I just checked it in IE and it looks like crap. All of the wording is way too big. The font size for some reason went haywire. Any suggestions?

I check the source page for your site:

You have a missing close </h2> tag in the tagline <div>

      <div id="tagline"><br> <h2>The products and sales aids you want<br><br>at the Wholesale prices you deserve!<h2> </div>

You'll need to edit whatever file(s) you changed and make that correction.

Since that <h2> tag is not closed, IE is assuming that everything after it is a still an <h2> heading and that's why the text sizes are off.

Thanks for checking things for me. I did find the problem and fixed it. All is well now.
