Catalog disappeared

Alright, im gonna be honest, I'm actually using osCommerce, but i no that zencart is derived from osCommerce. The reason why i no this is cause i set up my OWN site with zen-cart (and im loving it by the way) while my client, (who prefers osCommerce) is having trouble with his site.

The problem he's having (which i'm hoping someone from here might be able to help me out) is that when i access the admin section of the website everything works properly...when i click 'categories/products' it goes to the page but the page is completely blank. The only thing that actually shows is the title of the page sayin "categories/products"...and thats it.

Any suggestions? really appreciate it.

Without being too pedantic, have you thought about asking on the OSC forums?
Yes ZC and OSC are grammatically linked but that doesn't mean to say their problems are the same.

The easiest solution would be to download a fresh copy of osc and compare the 2 admin categories files.

ye i kinda forgot to mention that i've already posted 3 topics in their forums regarding this issue and so far no one knows whats going on...or has even bothered to ask for more information so then maybe they would have clue.....anyhow....would it be just the php files in the admin folder? or all subfolders as well?

I know this is an old forum, but I have the exact same problem and need help.

I installed the free gift dangling carrot. I followed all the instructions and everything works except that my catalog is blank on the admin site.

I just need some suggestions on which php files to check. I know the products are still active because I have had purchases. I believe there must be a code mishap somewhere that is just making the catalog not visible.
