Updated Zen Cart, getting Errors

Hello,

At the beginning of the month I had some help in updating my Zen Cart. Just last night I had this problem where the USPS shipping module decided not to calculate postage. I got this error:

We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)

I now use a table rate shipping method, but the orders aren't being recorded. So once a person orders, I have to e-mail them and ask what they bought.

I re-installed the USPS ship module files that were updated this month with no luck, so I reverted to the old. I also got a fresh USPS web tools user ID to see if maybe the old one had a problem. It's in production mode and activated.

I then enabled error reporting and got a treasure trove of errors which you can see below. Can anyone give me some advice on what to do next? It's a big mess.

I'm going to upgrade from 1.3.8 to 1.3.8a. Would that solve the problems?

You should do that upgrade anyway.

However, "notice" messages are not "errors", and can usually be safely ignored.

Thanks Dr Byte, I'm going to work on it and I'll report back.

Problem solved, it looks like the server wasn't resolving DNS properly according to my web host. They made some changes and now it is working.
