which shopping cart would you go for?

errmm .. oooo ... errr .. maybe ... errmm ... ooo it's tough ... ermm ...
What about Zen cart? I've heard it's good.

In all serious though I would still say ZC as it's proved itself time and time again to be much better than all the others.

I only used zen cart and ubercart, and I feel zencart may be the best cart currently.

First, I use Drupal+ubercart, I've spent three month in learning Dupal/PHP/Ubercart, and tried to cutomize codes to build a decent website, the process is painful, because cutomize ubercart need you to be both PHP/Drupal expert, it's so hard to build a decent website using ubercart, though they bloat they have plenty of free template, but the truth is none of those template is for e-commerce and at a production level.

So, I turn to Zencart, it's so easy to build a decent website and I think even amateurs(non-programmers) can use Zencart as well. And, Zencart is much faster than Ubercart. Ubercart is great, but not mature yet, and Zencart is derived from OSCommerce, and I've heard of it overcomes many defects of OSCommerce.
It only takes me three weeks to build a decent website using Zencart.
