Is it normal to have to reset fields after an error in checkout?

When I am checking out, on the step 2 of 3 page, and the customer has entered all of the payment information, checked the terms and conditions box, etc., and then (for example) enters an invalid coupon code and presses CONTINUE, I get an error about the coupon code, and then the credit card information is all erased and the terms and conditions checkbox is unticked, leading to further errors as the customer attempts to correct the coupon code. The user has to re-enter all of this information, not just the coupon code.

Is this normal?

At the present time, yes, the information has to be re-entered if an error occurs.

At the present time, yes, the information has to be re-entered if an error occurs. Thanks. Obviously, that might be a good thing to change in the future. ;)
