Zen Cart and Network Solutions

New to forum. Getting ready to install Zen Cart on a NetSol-hosted website. I've noticed a few postings about possible conflicts with NetSol's SSL. Does anyone have further info on this or anything else related to compatibility I should be aware of? Can't switch servers, and I hate to do an install just to find out it inherently won't work. Thanks to everyone in advance!

Re: Zen Cart and Network Solutions

From another thread (which I guess you've seen):

*Network Solutions has never worked with SSL correctly.
Their servers have a configuration that's non-standard to the rest of the industry, and their techs refuse to offer any reason for the setup nor will they assist in providing a way to make it work. It's been an outstanding issue for years ... despite our many attempts to get them to do something about it.

It's up to you, but if you're not in a long-term contract, you'll be better off hosting elsewhere ... and likely save money too.*

My take would be even if you're in a long term contact, if you want to use Zencart (and I think you should), eat what you've paid so far and change hosts.

Re: Zen Cart and Network Solutions

Definitely go somewhere else if the host won't play nice.
