switches for sideboxes

is there a file which has all the switches for the sideboxes, which indicates if the sidebox is switche don or off if it is the left or right side box etc. i would like to preconfigure the sideboxes in a custom file so i do not need to go into ADMIN->TOOLS->LAYOUT BOXES CONTROLLER, any help is greatly appreciated thanks in advance anthony

No, there's no file. The settings are changeable and therefore are held in your database. So to bypass that page you would need to edit the layout_boxes table directly.

thanks for fast reply, it doesnt take long to configure but if there were some variables then this would have simplified it.
