Updating Complicated Pricing on Many Products - Suggestions Wanted

I need some advice - and mods, feel free to move if necessary.

About a year ago, I installed ZenCart for a client that has a product database of 1000+ products, about 60% of which are priced by attributes and which also have wholesale pricing. For years, their prices have held pretty steady. However, with rising costs and the fact that many of their items are sourced in Europe, they're finding they are needing to up prices. I suspect they'll probably need to change pricing more frequently, based on the way costs are going up.

So, the free version of Easy Populate works to a point - but not very well on attributes. Does the paid version work better? Is there a better solution someone can suggest?

Updating these products (which all have a minumum of three attributes on them) manually just isn't feasible. I'm sure others have gone through this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You can check out this mod. I haven't used it and I'm not sure if/how it works with attributes. You might have to download it and read the instructions.

Re: Updating Complicated Pricing on Many Products - Suggestions Wanted

Thanks - that looks interesting, but it I don't think it deals with attributes and wholesale prices. It is also "across the board" and some things will rise 10% and others will rise 5%, etc.

I think what I'm looking for is something that will show me a product and attributes in spreadsheet form so that I can use formulas, etc. to change the pricing before uploading everything back into the database. Of course, I understand that attributes sit in a different table than products, etc. Ideally, there would be a coded mod that would allow you to mass change attributes within ZC.

I think I'm asking too much but I'd still love to have other suggestions or just some ideas of how others have handled this.

Wanted to say that I did install this last night and it does seem to work but it isn't quite what I'm looking for. The client also informed me that they want all the prices rounded to the nearest $.05. I see lots of data entry in someone's future!
