Text Edit in add product

I ran into an interesting situation today. I have a client that has 2 separate shopping carts, both set up on the same day from the same version 1.3.8a.

When adding a new product on one in the description area, there is a text edit, where you can change the text font, size, color etc. On the other site this is not available.

I can't figure this one, because I set these both up exactly the same. When I go to some of the other sites I have built the text functions are not available.

Does anybody have any idea how the editable version got there so I can update the other sites to do the same thing.

Should be admin > mystore > HTML Editor > select the html area

After setting you might have to logout and then back in for this to take affect

It shows the html now, but the the text editor.
Is there a config that turns a text editor on.

That is the switch - -

Try using the defines page editor and check what editor it defaults to in the drop down and if it is "text" and not "html" - select it there and see if it loads

If not - you might have bad files

Works perfectly, I was looking in all of the dropdown menus for a text/html editor option.
