Can you make a coupon NOT valid for a specific country?

I looked around, but didn't really find how to do this, or if it's possible.

I want to make a coupon that is valid for most of the world, but not valid for a specific country such as Japan.

I'd appreciate any pointers on how to set this up. Thanks!

You could make a Zone that includes everyone except that one country for the coupon ...

Thanks for the reply. How does one do that? You're not saying to manually, one by one, add all 240 countries in the default database to a Zone Definition, are you? If I did one every 10 seconds, it would take about 40 minutes, assuming I hadn't gone crazy and shot myself in the head first. :wink:

I managed to figure out how to export the country list from the database, remove Japan, and turn it into a list that I could then import into the zen_zones_to_geo_zone table. A large amount of work for something seemingly so simple. I'd suggest that feature for the wishlist: Ability to have a "negative" or "backwards" inclusion of a country in a zone, to prohibit a certain area from using a coupon (rather than having to manually include every single country except the one you want to exclude).

Thanks for the update on the means in which you were able to build a Zone with everything except one country ... that is always very helpful to others to know how problems can be resolved ...
