Can't get "logoff" link to work?

Hi,
I am using a custom template which did not include the log off option.
I made a log off option by doing the following coding in the my account page

<?php '<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_LOGOFF, '', 'SSL') . '">' . LOGOFF . '</a>' ?>

But when i click on this LOGOFF option it does not redirect me to the log off page
